Something to Think About: King David was at a point in his life where he was almost killed and God provided a way of escape for David; "The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. 16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit." Psalm 34:15-18 Do you remember the time when you walked away from the car wreck with your life spared or the time the house burned down and again God spared your life. All of us, even in times of trouble need to stop and remember the goodness of God in our lives and just to thank God. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.20 He guards all his bones;Not one of them is broken21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. 22 The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned." Psalm 34:19-22 God has a way of turning evil that is being planned against you back to the perpetrators; "Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. 15 He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made.16 His trouble shall return upon his own head, And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown. 17 I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High" Psalm 7:14-17 Rest, relax and reflect on God's goodness and sing this song today and whenever life is good or when life is tough, remember God is Good! "And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 23 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: 24 “The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,And give you peace."
