Meditate on God's Word! "God's Blessing! "
Hagai 1:7-11 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD. 9 "You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house. 10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. 11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands."

Something to Think About: God's prophet Hagai, comes with a message to stir up the people back into action. When Elijah ran from Jezebel and hid in a cave, God called him back into action: "After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" I Kings 19:12-13 In Hagai's time of the rebuilding of the temple God put a sense of emptyness in the peoples heart's to move them into action. In Elijah's case it was God's gentle whisper after the fire. Sometimes in life, no matter how much we have, there may be a sense in our heart that something is missing. When you find your purpose in doing what God has called you to do, you will find an overwhelming sense of peace and purpose. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 Then, everything begins to work and you will find the "peace that passes all understanding"
