Meditate on God's Word ! "Listening, Hearing & Obeying !!"
II Chronicles 35:16-18 "So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the Passover and to offer burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD, according to the command of King Josiah. 17 And the children of Israel who were present kept the Passover at that time, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days. 18 There had been no Passover kept in Israel like that since the days of Samuel the prophet; and none of the kings of Israel had kept such a Passover as Josiah kept, with the priests and the Levites, all Judah and Israel who were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.." Something to Think About: What can one person really do to influence another ? As we see in the life of King Josiah we see the power of listening, hearing and responding or obeying what God has called you to do ! Josiah's actions lead an entire nation to do something that hadn't been done in over 400 years. Can the same thing happen today ? The nation of Judah was following false gods of pleasure, lust and comfort in a society that did the same. Sound familiar ? Never doubt what God can do with one person who decides to listen, hear and to respond to God's Word. God hasn't changed, He is the same yesterday as He is today. Isaiah 46:9-10 "Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure." We have changed and have tried to make God what we think He is based on our lives today. Hear, listen and respond to the God who is calling you !
