Meditate on God's Word !
Forgiven, Loved and Forgotten !
Isaiah 43:1-2 "But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “ Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. “ I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins. "
Something to Think About: As Israel experienced over 2,700 years ago, we as Christians can experience today. The knowledge that God has created you, redeemed you, called you and not only has forgiven you but has forgotten your past sins. This is the feeling David had when he wrote these powerful words over 3,000 years ago. "He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. 13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him; 14 for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust." Psalm 103:10-14 Wow ! If you knew that any wrong thing you ever did in your life was not only forgiven but forgotten how would you live ? As Paul wrote to the church at Colossee; "He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross; Colossians 2:13-14 You would be overflowing in joy ! Jesus's sacrifice on the cross for you has given us unlimited freedom to love, live and to be able to forgive others as well. Remember to rest in these beautiful words of David: "As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us."
