Meditate on God's Word !
Believing in God's Promises !
II Kings 6:15-17 "And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.”
Something to Think About: Gideon finally believed and moved; "And so it was, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, that he worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel, and said, Arise, for the LORD has delivered the camp of Midian into your hand.” 16 Then he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers.” Judges 7:15-16 There will be times in our lives where we know that God is on our side and yet we hesitate because of fear and uncertainty. Paul reminded us of what God has given us; "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 Paul also taught the church at Rome; "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Romans 8:31-32 Also as John wrote to us; "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." I John 4:4 When you realize the riches and promises we have in God's Word, do like Gideon did, move and thank God for the victory. The power we need is always there, sometimes we just need to claim the provisions of God by faith and move confidently forward, trusting and believing in the promises of God.
